Welcome to our website

Welcome to our website, we are travelling around Australia and this website will be our travel diary. We will be driving in a 2010 RAV4, that we are decking out to live out of for some time. When I say we, I'm talking about myself, Mimi & my 8 year old son Caleb. I hope you enjoy. Our trip doesn't start until March 2012, but before then, we have lots to do still. Such as making sure the car is set up correctly, that we'll be safe and I have everything I need to ensure Caleb won't get behind in his studies.

OK, so the latest news is, I've spoken to people regarding custom building the inside of the RAV so we will have a platform to sleep on and storage that wheels out to cook on and do other things. I've also put some TOYO AT tyres on layby, thanks to Rayners Tyre Centre for your assistance...

Our new website has been launched today. This will be where you will be able to follow us know how things are going and know exactly where we are and what we've been doing.

Let's make a difference

Have you heard of MPS - Mucopolysaccharide & Related Diseases? No? Me either until recently. A school friend of mine caught up with me on Facebook and her daughter has Hurler's Syndrome. Even though I haven't met her daughter and haven't seen my friend since school, their story has touched me in a way that I just can't explain. For that I owe them both a debt of gratitude.

My wish for them is that they find a cure and in order to do this they need funds, not just for research, but for support for families who are living with this.  If you want to help, please make a donation.

Donations may be sent to PO Box 623, Hornsby NSW 1630 or contact treasurer@mpssociety.org.au for further options including credit card payments.
